This is a test of your math prowess. No calculus,
algebra, or any other fancy stuff like that there. Just good old
fashioned adding. Challenge a classmate, challenge an instructor,
see how tough you really are.
Instructions:
- Cut out the 9 squares to the left and arrange them face up
between the two players.
- The first player chooses any number.
- The second player then chooses a number.
- Then the first player again.
- Then the second player again.
- And so on until someone wins or all numbers are gone (a draw).
The objective; get three numbers that add
up to fifteen (and keep the other guy from doing
it before you do.
Note: it must be THREE numbers (not two, or four, etc.) i.e. 9
and 6 does NOT win, but 8,1,6 does win.
Recommendation: When you get good at this, challenge someone to
play with a 10 (or 5) second time limit per turn. |
