Commercial Pilot Licence - Aeroplane

Obtaining a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), aeroplane category, is the second step to becoming a professional pilot. First you will need a Private Pilot Licence (PPL.) If you don't yet have a PPL checkout all the requirements on the PPL page.

If you are pursuing a career as a professional pilot you will eventually wish to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL.) The details of this licence are collected on the ATPL page.

Have a look at my textbook Navigation for Professional Pilots

You will also need to study aerodynamics. For that I have a text book called Aerodynamics for Professional Pilots

The FAA has a number of excellent online textbooks, some are quite useful in studying for the Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence.
